Résumé
The article describes the process of applying protocol analysis in the study thinking of cultural-historical activity theory (CHAT). The integration of protocol analysis into CHAT perspective to the use of verbalizations as data is endorsed. Recent research is applying protocol analysis in this context to studies of thinking in daily life, including socially-situated functions. It is believed that protocol analysis will be a source of proof that will make research traditions collect mutually acceptable proof related to present and future theoretical issues.
